About Eddie and Olet Design

Eddie Ouellette runs Olet Design, a small studio in the Portland metro area that does small business branding for clients in Oregon and around the country. He has been doing graphic design for more than 15 years, and the client list has some big names on it: Google Education, NASA and Verizon. His work has also shown up at Hot Topic and on the Huffington Post. What caught my attention is the next line in his bio, where he says he also enjoys working with mom and pop shops.

Olet Design is a family operation. Eddie is the founder and lead designer. Dani Ouellette is the CFO, and according to the website she speaks Spanish, is a published author, and is the one who actually likes spreadsheets.

When Eddie is not designing, he is an amateur lumberjack and roasts his own coffee.

Why I’m Featuring Eddie

A lot of the business owners I work with around here are very good at what they do, and their branding doesn’t show it. The logo came from a free template, the truck lettering doesn’t match the business card, and the Facebook page has a third color scheme.
